Where did you go to high school? Neptune High School
Where did you go to college and what did you major in? I went to Flagler College (in coastal Florida) and I was a Spanish major.
Did you study abroad? Where did you go and why? Yes, I studied in Spain and Costa Rica to travel and learn Spanish!
What special certifications do you have? CPR, NJ Teaching Certificate
How long have you been involved with Summertime? Since 2009
Why do you work at Summertime? I work to provide my knowledge to enthusiastic people that want to learn how to become a better waterman/woman.
Besides working at Summertime, what else do you do to pay your bills? I’m a Spanish teacher and soccer coach.
At what age did you start surfing? 10 years old, seems like a long time ago, and I still can’t do airs
Where have you traveled to surf? Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Spain
Other than surfing, do you have any talents? I played soccer in college, I’m fluent in Spanish, and I can do more pushups than you 😉
